Crush of the day: Michelle, A Theme 2 Remember

I met Michelle on the CPN a little while back. She is launching a new event planning business. She oozes talent and creativity. She is a detail chick for sure. She is a queen of DIY party projects-which I love. What I adore even more about her is this little post I stumbled upon. I was clicking through her profile on the CPN and traveled to her blog and had to lol and smile. Message here is-just because you are new to blogging or event planning or whatever else your dream is, does not mean no one will ever notice you in this big ocean of party girls. I notice everything. Everybody was "the new girl" at one time. Michelle's talent and random act of kindness towards me and the CPN landed her as Lucky Number 13 Crush in the Experiment of Nice:) Oh, and she is Peruvian. A random fact about me: I seriously crush on anything and everything related to Peru. But this feature is not about me..LOL! Oh, and Michelle listed "cerulean" as her fave color. Could she be any cooler? Totally crushing on her.

favorite color? CERULEAN....it's a color you can find in a crayon box =)


favorite team? I could only bare to watch basketball....so being from the SF area, I'm a Golden State Warriors fan

if you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? This is definitely a tough one, anyone that knows me knows I have a love affair with food, so I'll go with what I've been craving for the last few weeks and that is Peruvian ceviche. (I'm peruvian)

party trend you are crushing on? I pretty much have a crush on everything, but I guess if I had to choose one it would have to be Candy Tables. Growing up as a little girl, my aunt would be the one to set up the "main cake table" with candies, popcorn etc Its the one memory I vividly remember from my childhood

party trend you are so over? I'm pretty much over the every day pre made/pre printed supplies from stores. I think every event especially for children should be memorable and unique....some lack creativity, in my opinion.

favorite aisle in the craft store? OMG definitely the discounted section because I could always find things in bulk and I could combine things and make something really cute! I once found "ingredient cards" with 50's women on them and cute little sayings...and used those for my wedding (pin up style wedding) for guests to give advice, well wishes and etc. Best section ever!

do you wear Uggs? I'm as frugal as they come, so no, I refuse to own them just because I'm not that into things fashion as I thought I would be. I get the "fake" uggs and they dont last a whole winter season! haha I guess I don't pick up my feet so much when I walk. =\

do you really exercise? haha! NO! I mean I tried to do the INSANITY workout but that didn't last very long. I love food too much....too much!

minivan or non minivan driving? non minivan at the moment, but actually in the process of looking into one.

favorite holiday? Christmas!!! it has always been Christmas. My mom used to be soooo into decorating the entire house! down to the bathroom! eh she still does! And she would make Christmas come to life & I would always look forward to it.

favorite smell? Rain!!! I don't know how to describe it but I just looooove the smell of rain.

do you color your hair? No, I used to but it damaged my hair so I stopped.

do you think you’re cool? Hmmm....I'd like to think so =)
