Daphne is simply amazing. She is a chick with many talents. She was a teacher. A dancer. She is now a custom printable partyware designer and event planner. She blogs about parties, DIY projects and planning tips and tricks. She also offers something very beautiful and unique on her blog-themed download kits for teachers. Adorable designs and ideas that provide a super fun way  for kids to learn and a novel way for teachers to teach. • favorite color?-My all time fave is purple, but it really depends on what I'm referring to. For my son's nursery-baby blue and chocolate brown combo, for a car-silver, for my wardrobe-currently black (I need the "makes me look slimmer" effect right now),for accessories black and aqua...you get the picture! I have a favorite color(s) for many things!


• favorite team?-Anyone who knows me knows I am a HUGE San Francisco 49er fan! LOVE NFL football and I am CRAZY about my Niners! Watching the games are a great way for me to remember my dad-I will ALWAYS love them-no matter if they win or lose!

• if you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Easy-Seared Ahi Tuna! So yummy! I used to travel every week for work and one of the best parts about it was I got to order it off the menu almost every night for dinner! And for someone who doesn't cook-that was a HUGE plus!! Oh how I miss those days......SIGH!

• party trend you are crushing on? I love all the parties that have been popping up lately that are inspired by a "commercial" theme, but are redesigned to have a custom, unique feel and look to them. And really I crush on all of the great, inspirational ideas out there that goes beyond purchasing mass produced store bought party sets. Which leads me into your next question...

• party trend you are so over? Unless I fall and hit my head and get really bad amnesia, I will always, always, alway, NOT be a fan of the store bought, mass produced party sets. I think it looks so generic. With all the other options that all of us party people offer now, I just don't see any excuse to not add some kind of personal or custom element to your party!

• favorite aisle in the craft store? This one is kind of a trick one for me because it really depends on what project is currently on my mind while I am roaming a craft store. Default aisle is probably ribbon though, but I would say it's safe to say the fabric aisles and "cute accessories" aisles are also places you are sure to find me. May I make one complaint though? Why oh why is there not a Hobby Lobby near me or anywhere in California for that matter?! I would have SO many more favorite aisles!!

• do you wear Uggs? I wish! Hopefully after Christmas I will :) Right now I have to wear fake ones!

• do you really exercise? I wish I was consistent. Another one of those-depends where my mind is at. Actually joining a gym next week (for real-great 2 year deal offered at Costco right now) so if I was answering in a month from now I would say, "Why yes! I run every day!" That is my gym "drug" of choice when I do go!

• minivan or non minivan driving? I only have 1 kid right now so I don't currently have a need, but if I end up with more, I will. My brother has 5 kids and a mini-van and let me tell you! With that many muddy cleats coming in and out all day long-I would be mini-vanning it all the way! Plus-haven't you seen the commercials where you get to hang out in the back, wearing your robe, watching TV while the kids are all in the house? Yep-that sounds real good to me, laugh!

• favorite holiday? Christmas-loved it for the all the obvious reasons, then I hated it (I struggled with infertility for 9 years so when you are trying to have a baby and can't, Christmas becomes the most dreaded holiday) and now I finally became a mom via a gestational surrogate and I am back IN LOVE with it! I can't wait to start decorating and getting all my sparkly, glittery decorations and lights up for my little guy to ooohhh and ahhhh over! HEAVEN!

• favorite smell? The smell of the smoke from campfires as I pull into Pinecrest Lake Resort-where we camped every year when I was a child and now go to with my son. The BEST!

• do you color your hair? Yes-used to because highlights were fun! Now for the OTHER reason! Grrr...I feel like I am just too young for those yet! Okay-I'm probably not too young, but I really do feel too young!

• do you think you’re cool? This will show how new I am still as a seller on Etsy. Yes, I do think I am cool-sometimes. When do I think I'm cool? Whenever I get a sale on Etsy-that causes me to go a little nuts and start doing crazy dances and strutting around the house bragging! I can't explain it (although something tells me I don't really have to here) but there is just something very COOL about a perfect stranger liking your work. When that happens-that is when I think I'm cool!
