The Christmas Card 2009

I had grand dreams for this year's Christmas Card. Had such a great idea, the props and the whole dreamy set-up in my mind. The reality is-my boys are not easy ones to photograph. Nor do they like to sit for photo shoots. I have tried everything under the sun to get them to both sit still for a minute to take a decent picture.

This year, I had to give up the perfect picture pipe dream & photo props very quickly. I settled for trying to get a sweet, close up shot of them. Our boys chose Ugly Dolls to decorate our tree this year. My house has been invaded with these Ugly Dolls. We must have 50 of them around the house! The boys decided that they wanted to hold them while I was taking their pictures. After about 100 shots, I got one where they both look sweet & handsome. And the Ugly Dolls looked decent too. LOL!

The reality of that shot, what you cannot see, is one of them is wearing brown shorts & Scooby Doo Crocs and the other one has on camouflage pants with a big splat of yogurt on them. There are candy cane wrappers all over the floor. The illusion is what made the final proof to print.

Not what I initially had in mind, but I would not trade this one for the world. My sons are the entire universe to me. My heart and soul on a Christmas card.

Real Party: Bryan's Sock Monkey 1st

A little monkey named Bryan just had his First Birthday. His Mom, Nancy, did a spectacular job setting the scene for this 1st Birthday Bananza:) Classic Sock Monkey Partyware done in Red and Black. Beautiful setup, love these pics. Thanks so much Nancy. My pleasure.

Real Party: Blake's Clown Circus Monkey 1st

It's not secret I have great Monkey love. I also adore anything to do with the Carnival or Circus. The Circus Clown Monkey line was created to bring all of my loves into one vibrant and whimsical design. These pictures were from a little monkey named Blake's First Birthday Party. His Mom, Jennifer, seriously set one beautiful and quite impressive tablescape. Blake had a blast at his Very First Birthday Party. I am honored to have been a part of this celebration. This sweet pink event was held for an adorable little lady named Jacqueline. Her Mom is my hero. She plans every party about a year in advance and I adore her for that. For Jacqueline's Very First Birthday Party we did a theme of Pink & Chocolate Brown Monkeys and threw in some pink Giraffes and Elephants for even more fun. Lots of pink, lots of glitter and lots of fun. We both had a fabulous time planning this one and J Mom did another phenomenal job. Enjoy the pics.

Customer Photos: Jackson's Police Party

These cupcake toppers were created for a dashing young man, named Jackson. These were for his 5th Birthday Celebration. The little man is wild over all things to do with the Police Department. I created these Police Car Cupcake Toppers to make Jackson's Birthday everything he dreamed it would be. His mom, Jill, made a beautiful display for his cupcakes. The kids went wild! This is one truly amazing birthday cake. I made a birthday banner for a very special little girl named Maya. It was her Very First Birthday and her Mom loved the banner so much she had a replica of it designed into the front of the cake. It is the most detailed and beautiful cake I have ever seen. It was a brightly colored fall/circus themed event. Perfectly fitting for this precious little lady.
