As 2011 comes to a close, I thought it would be fun + fabulous to feature those party chicks that all other party chicks love + adore. I conducted a little experiment and accepted nominations from the party lovas and have compiled this snazzy little list. If a person/business was nominated at least three times-they are on the list.

Earlier, I posted the 2011 Aussie Awesomeness list. The Wonders from Down Under throw down some serious party thunder.

Today, I am giddy happy to post the US and everywhere else chicks that other chicks simply love + adore. These ladies inspire with their ridic creativity and polished presentations. They are also stellar human beings-kind + cool-the best combination. Ever.
List is in no particular order. All equally sparkling + astounding. And all so beloved + adored that someone took the time to nominate them for achievement in fabulous:) I sent out emails, posts and requests for nominations and my inbox was flooded with sweetness + kind words about so many chicks that inspire and dish out the dazzle.

So. I thought it would be epic fun to post a ridic recap of the parties and shoots I styled in 2011. As I looked back upon all the glittery memories and creative adorableness, I had an epiphany- I . Am. Nuts.

I am also posting links to some other dazzling party chicks that created some serious fabulosity in parties and wanted to share.

The Sock Snow Dude Tutorial

Adorable + easy craft for home or classroom projects. This cute tute was just featured in the brilliant Bird's Party Holiday Mag . You can make them in any size or color combination. I used many materials I already had in my stash. If you make some~send pics~I live for that kind of adorableness in my inbox:)

Materials:
White socks (child/youth size)
Poly Fiberfill
Dried Beans (I used Pinto)
Yarn or string for tying and mouth
Pom Poms, Buttons or any embellishments you have on hand
Black gems for eyes
Ribbon or yarn scraps
Purple Glue Gun:) {if you have more time to let them dry, you could certainly use regular craft glue)

Step one: Insert a layer of beans in the bottom of the sock (about an inch high)

Step two: Stuff the fiberfill into the sock on top of the beans. Stuff until the fill reaches the bottom of the ribbed part of the sock. Tightly tie off with a string, cut off ends.

Step three: Fold down ribbed part of sock, and roll up the edges a little to create a “hat.” Use a few dabs of hot glue to secure the hat down.

Step four: Select a piece of ribbon or strands of yarn to make a “scarf” for the snow dude. Locate where you want the neck to be and tie the yarn tightly and knot. Make sure you make the head big enough and leave room to decorate the face.

Step five: Using purple hot glue gun {or craft glue if preferred}, add eyes, nose, mouth, poms and buttons in any kind of colorful combination and design.

Step six: Admire the cuteness you just crafted:)

This incredibly sweet and charming party was styled by Debra {TiTi's TuTus} for her little lady's 2nd birthday. Gorgeous color palette. The most darling details. The tulle usage is amazing, soft and gorgeous. Insane over the pom garlands. You can feel the love that went into this beautiful party.

My fave real deets: Daddy reading the story to his birthday sweetie and guests. Beautiful and such a special moment. I am also totally smitten over the big brother's help tearing the coloring book pages out for his baby sis.
